Tagg House Ladies: Norman Oberheim makes a welcome return with more of his photos tomorrow, Friday, June 1 at Bilton Community Centre, 48 Bilton Lane at 2.15pm. Admission £1.50 includes tea and biscuits. Visitors welcome.
Music at the Granby: Harrogate’s Inner Wheel Club is presenting an evening of musical entertainment at Granby Care Home, in the crystal room, on June 2. Proceeds from the night will go to Sir Robert Ogden Macmillan Centre. Music will be performed by Treble Clef choir and mezzo-soprano Joanne Young. Services at St John’s: on Sunday, June 3 Holy Communion is at 8am, followed by a parade and family service at 9.30am then Holy Communion at 11am. At St Luke’s there will be an all-age Communion at 10.30am. Next week morning prayer takes place on Monday. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 9-9.30am. On Wednesday, June 6 Holy Communion is at 10.30am.
Chat and Craft: at Dene Park Community Centre where a friendly, happy group meet to enjoy chatting and crafting and supporting local charities. Meetings take place on Mondays, 2-4pm. All welcome regardless of abilities. Pop in and say hello. Cost £2 includes refreshments.

Dancing for Wellbeing: at Bilton Community Centre on Wednesday afternoons. Ideal for those with mobility and balance problems, heart and breathing problems, people with arthritis, dementia or Parkinsons. No partner necessary and the dancing is sitting down. At the library: Friday, June 1 the Scrabble Club meets at 2pm. All welcome. Admission £1 towards library running costs. Next week is National Bookstart Week with the theme “Bookstart Bird Boogies”. This will be celebrated at the Storytime for pre-school children on Tuesday, June 5 and it is free. Bilton and Woodfield Community Library is on Woodfield Road on the same site as the school and Children’s Centre.
